Dress won’t zip? Lost the ring? The band died? All legitimate reasons to panic, but don’t!
Think before you panic. If you become a blubbering bride, you’ll ruin your makeup, the photographer will catch your unpleasant moments and, the worst, you might evolve into a Bridezilla.
Take a deep breath and think. There is an upside to every scenario:
- Only half your wedding guests showed up. It’s okay! Those who chose to be there are the ones who are supposed to be there.
- You woke up with a bridal blemish on your nose. It’s okay, Rudolph, that’s why there’s Adobe Photoshop.
- Your dress won’t zip. It’s okay! You now have more wiggle room and can eat as much as you want. Plus, your veil will cover that back gap right up.
If your blubbering is out of control and thinking of the upside just won’t do, there are always other remedies. Cake flavored nips will drown your sorrows and a cranky bridesmaid will be more than willing to give you a good SLAP.
This may not be the most perfect day, but you will reflect on it as the most important. It is your day; don’t let anything spoil it.
Just remember: expect the unexpected and roll with it.
